My name is Harry Brackel. I recently joined the district council, responsible for the Economy portfolio. I have been living on De Plaetse for 8 years with Marjolijn; our children have moved out. I work in a commercial role at an internationally operating software company, focusing on custom development for businesses. My hobbies include art, culture, and sports especially walking, jogging, and cycling.
Since the age of 15, I have been actively involved in politics and associations. There are many developments in Brandevoort. New construction, retail offerings, and the business climate all require close attention. We see the tension between economy/space and nature/environment increasing. Decisions must be made with an eye for quality and sustainability. Residential areas should be attractive for both residents and entrepreneurs they go hand in hand. Together with the district council, we will roll up our sleeves and get to work.
